1) A developmental edit is best done early in your process and provides feedback on your book's positioning and organization. This helps ensure you're tightly dialed in before you begin drafting.
2) A structural edit is best done after your first draft is complete; it addresses structure, content, tone, organization, and problem spots.
3) A line edit is best completed after a structural edit; it addresses sentence fluency, grammar, spelling, transitions, and tone.

Book Coaching
Do you plan to write your own book, but desire coaching, editing, and accountability along the way?
That’s what this service is designed to provide. Through a series of regularly scheduled meetings, I provide guidance in your book positioning, coach you in the writing process, provide regular writing feedback, and serve as your editor.
This service can be provided via one-on-one coaching or in an author cohort.
